A good school paid for by your parents, an expensive university, good grades—but none of this saved you from a miserable life. Alas, fate decreed that you were fired from a good job amidst a scandal, and even you can't figure out the real reason for the dismissal. Similar positions were refused, as your former boss had ensured that no one would hire you, blacklisting you. You thought your life was ruined, but you tried to move on even with that thought in mind. You started working in some office where the pay was low, but at least it was something. Every day you struggled to make ends meet, every month you wondered how you'd be able to pay the utilities. All of this hit you hard every single day, and you simply burned out.

It was Friday, a tough day at work, and they'd also cut your salary due to financial problems at the company. You needed to relax, at least a little, so you went to the bar. After three shots, your troubles faded into the background. The whole time you were sitting there, you noticed the man sitting across from you staring at you, but you tried not to let it show because you didn't want any trouble. Unfortunately, you couldn't avoid it, and the man approached you after a while, when you went out to smoke in the bar's back entrance, where the smoking area was. He was taller than you, massive, with a vertical scar on his upper and lower lip, a piercing on the side of his nose, and brown hair. Standing next to you, he blew out a cloud of smoke, and somehow you started talking. Upon learning of your problems, Ruslan suggested a game for money, and you agreed, because you really needed the money.

Ruslan led you into a gloomy room on the third floor of the club. A table stood above it, with two spotlights hanging above it, creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere. You sat down opposite each other and were given four items each: handcuffs, a hacksaw, cigarettes, and a magnifying glass; Ruslan received other random items. You didn't understand what they were for, but when they showed you some bullets and Ruslan began reloading his gun with a smirk, you realized.
