Nishizono Hasuichi

Cellular Regeneration: Possessing Theseus Cells, their bodies can repair damage that would kill anyone else. This means they don't die from common illnesses or minor physical wear and tear, which could technically extend their youth and lifespan by decades or even centuries. The Cost of Power: Using their special abilities generates immense biological stress. Every time they force their "evolution" to win a fight, they consume a massive amount of cellular energy. If a hero constantly fights at 100%, their body is likely to "burn out" prematurely, dying young but at their peak power. Evolution vs. Aging: Evolution seeks survival, not necessarily longevity. If their environment (the Rekkyo Sensen war) requires them to be hyper-efficient killing machines, their bodies will prioritize current strength over aging. In short: They have the "hardware" to be almost biologically immortal, but the "software" (their powers and the conflict) pushes them towards a violent death or extreme cellular exhaustion.

History or memories:

As a child, Hasuichi is very close to his mother, listening to her stories about the various countries of the world while she is hospitalized with an unknown illness. Hearing her tales of different people, languages, animals, and overseas lands, young Hasuichi harbors a deep desire to discover these places his mother longs to show him.

Years later, in the spring, Hasuichi's mother passes away from an illness. Secretary Oki takes charge of both the funeral arrangements and Hasuichi, now a teenager. The young man asks if his father will be there today, but Oki replies that he couldn't attend due to a typhoon that devastated a region of his country, but assures him that he will be present at the funeral. Hasuichi responds with a sad smile that it was to be expected, since he wasn't there when the doctors disconnected his mother's life support.

Oki then gives him one of his mother's books and a letter from her. Hasuichi reads his mother's letter, in which she expresses her sadness at not being able to be with him and watch him grow up, before thanking him for being her son. Without saying a word, Hasuichi bursts into tears.

In the year 2206, due to environmental pollution and resource depletion, humanity has only 100 years left to inhabit the Earth before its complete extinction. To reduce the world's population, a tournament is held to choose the country that will be exterminated, thus prolonging humanity's survival: the "Battle for the Overthrow of Nations."

As such, Hasuichi is chosen as Japan's representative for the upcoming battle.

Fighting skills Master Swordsman: Hasuichi demonstrated astonishing swordsmanship during his battle against Albie Hiddleston, thanks to his use of the Tōken Hanagaga, his special katana-like weapon. By utilizing its unique resonance, Hasuichi can also transform it into a spear-like weapon and use it in conjunction with his abilities to perform powerful slashing attacks.

Sharp intellect: While fighting Albie, Hasuichi displayed impressive analytical, deductive, and strategic skills despite constant danger and stress, managing to guess where Albie's core was located and tricking him by leaving blood on his clothes, which allowed Hasuichi to immobilize him.

Growth of a Hundred Flowers: The Weight of a Thousand Cherry Blossoms ( :の重さ, Hyakkaseihō: Ōka Ippen no Omo-Sa ? )百ひゃっ花か斉せい放ほう桜うう花か一いっ片ぺん : By increasing his internal temperature, Hasuichi can increase his physical capabilities and his resonance rate from 50% to 90%, improving his control over plants.

Growth of a Hundred Flowers: "Instant Bloom" (『き』, Hyakkaseihō: 『Shuyuzaki』? )百ひゃっ花か斉せい放ほう須しゅ臾ゆ咲ざ : Hasuichi wields his sword after coating it with his blood, projecting crescent-shaped, blade-like petals of blood that fly forward and greatly extend the reach of the cut, far beyond the physical reach of his sword. These cuts are powerful enough to slice deeply through concrete walls.

Superhuman Regeneration: Grants extreme healing abilities. Heroes can heal mortal wounds, punctured organs, or lost limbs in a matter of seconds during combat. Enhanced Physical Attributes: They elevate strength, speed, and endurance to levels that surpass any natural human limit, allowing the body to withstand the immense energy load generated by its own powers.

Singular resonance Hasuichi's Resonance: Singular Organic Matter Resonance TYPE: "Banda no Hitohira" (TYPE-Organic Matter: 『の』特異共鳴リゾナント万ばん朶だ一ひと片ひら, TYPE-Organic Matter Rhizont: 『Banda no Hitohira』; lit. A Petal Among Ten Thousand Flowers?): When his Theseus Cells are activated, Hasuichi can transform his blood into plant life and control it remotely. The plants he creates grow rapidly and move freely, without the apparent rigidity of other plants. A few drops are enough to create a huge cherry blossom in the sand in a matter of seconds, or vines and petals capable of cutting through concrete and human flesh. His ability can also be used to trap his opponents, creating plants from the bloodstains they leave on them, thus restricting their movements. Furthermore, Hasuichi seems to possess the ability to generate more blood, as with a limited amount on his sword, he could create enormous crescent-shaped strikes made of blood petals. [8][9]

While Hasuichi's resonance rate is usually quite low, he demonstrated the ability to raise his body temperature in intense combat situations, increasing his physical capabilities tenfold in reaction and raising his resonance rate from 50% to 90%, thus increasing the power and range of his singular resonance to unknown proportions. [10]

We, the Heroes of the End of the World, are considered a new branch of humanity, a species that emerged thanks to a phenomenon called Polyphenism. It is this process that allowed us to develop unique cells called Theseus Cells.

These cells allow us to survive in lethal concentrations of carbon dioxide without suffering any ill effects. And what's more… they give us superhuman abilities ranging from manipulating the weather to altering the composition of our own bodies.

Over time, we Heroes of the End of the World became the military core of our nations. Not by choice, but because Gaia outlawed weapons of mass destruction—missiles, nukes, everything—to prevent wars that would devastate the planet. Because of this, a country without a Hero of the End of the World is practically defenseless if its hero leaves for another nation. Therefore, the more heroes a country has, the more invincible it is. In total, there are 17 Heroes of the End of the World, including one who works directly for Gaia. The list is as follows:

Because of what we are… our Theseus Cells can recombine our body's properties when they become active. This is called Cellular Property Recombination, and it's what allows us to change, adapt, and… well, do the things we do.

Hasuichi is depicted as a Japanese teenager of below-average height, with short black hair and black eyes. He wears a black military jacket with stylized floral patterns on the chest and rolled-up sleeves, a black combat suit underneath, black boots and gloves, and a leather belt from which hangs the holster of his special weapon, the Tōken Hanakagari. When his Theseus Cells are activated, Hasuichi's hair turns white, his eyes take on a reddish hue, and his veins become visible.

Personality Hasuichi is a quiet and reserved boy, but intelligent and peaceful, with a clear aversion to war and conflict. He is often shown to be horrified by the violence he witnesses, something that is accentuated by his reaction to Albie's brutal execution. Although he detests violence, Hasuichi remains a determined and tenacious fighter, refusing to give up and even taunting Albie in the middle of the fight, telling him it's okay for him to surrender. In addition to his unwavering determination, Hasuichi is also idealistic and inquisitive, eager to discover the world beyond Japan for himself, inspired by the stories of his late mother, whose death deeply affected him. This desire notably motivated him to request the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the United Kingdom as a reward for his victory.

He also displays a strong sense of empathy towards others, relating to Albie's pain and anger, and even managing to sympathize with him during their confrontation. [2] A testament to this side of him is his primary motivation for fighting in the Battle to Overthrow Nations, namely, to stop this war between nations and secure a future for all.

Touken Hanakagari (Tōken Hanakagari; lit. Petal Sword): A special weapon in the form of a long sword, made from Hasuichi's Theseus Cells, to withstand and unleash their full power. By activating its unique resonance, Hasuichi can transform it into a double-edged, spear-like weapon through an unspecified process.
