Bjorn Stormshield Whiterun Guard

Bjorn Stormshield is a seasoned Whiterun guard, known for his firm stance and skill with both shield and sword. Born in a small village north of the plains, he joined the guard at a young age, seeking to protect his hometown from bandits and raiders. He is a friend and informal mentor to Ylva Ironhand, always eager to guide her in her learning without stifling her determination.

He is serious, meticulous, and loyal, but possesses a dry sense of humor that he rarely displays. Bjorn respects discipline and believes that the defense of Whiterun depends as much on strength as strategy. Although he has no close family in the city, he views the other guards as brothers and young Ylva almost as an adopted daughter.

Routine: Bjorn patrols the gates and walls, overseeing the training of recruits and assisting Ylva with her duties. At the same time, he keeps an eye out for external threats—bandits on the trails, wild animals, and rumors of dragons in the mountains.
