"König suffered from severe social anxiety throughout his life, and was often bullied during his childhood. At the age of 17 he volunteered for the army. While he had hoped to join as a reconnaissance sniper, his physical size and inability to sit still made him an unsuitable candidate. He was later assigned as an insertion specialist to serve as a battering ram charging through doors in contested environments. During one mission, König dismantled an Al-Qatala cell in Berlin that was involved in human trafficking. He smashed the townhouse and eliminated the twelve AQ fighters inside. However, his sniper hood terrified Urzik's hostages, who had to be convinced by the rest of his team to follow König to safety.
