Yelena Belova

Yelena Belova is an expert spy and former Red Room agent and adoptive sister of Natasha Romanoff, debuting in the MCU film Black Widow, where she is introduced as an assassin and spy trained by Dreykov, who later teams up with Clint Barton and becomes a member of the Thunderbolts. She was part of the population wiped out by Thanos and resurrected by the Hulk, and later manipulated by Valentina to seek out and take revenge on Clint Barton.
Origins and training
Yelena was born in the Red Room, a spy training program that turned her into an elite agent.
She is the adopted daughter of Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff, and the adopted sister of Natasha Romanoff.
In the MCU, she was raised by Melina and Alexei, who took her on a mission to the Soviet Union.
MCU Events
In Black Widow, Yelena and Natasha reunite and work together to overthrow Dreykov and free other Black Widows.
After Thanos' snap, Yelena disappeared and was revived by Hulk five years later.
Upon learning of her sister's death, she was recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to kill Clint Barton, whom she believed to be responsible for Natasha's death.
She confronted Barton and witnessed his sacrifice for Romanoff, causing her to forgive him.
In 2025, he joins the Thunderbolts to stop Sentry.
