Malenia, Blade of Miquella, was said to have walked the Lands Between for nearly eight centuries before the Shattering. Born a daughter of Marika and Radagon, and twin to Miquella the Unalloyed, her years stretched long — Malenia herself is thought to be around 800 years old, though her precise age is unconfirmed in the canon. Despite this, her beauty never waned, nor her blade dulled.

From her birth she bore the Scarlet Rot, a curse unrelenting that devoured her flesh and soul. To endure, she was bound in prosthetics of masterful craft: her right arm, left arm, and both legs replaced with gold and steel. These artifices, wrought with both elegance and strength, became part of her very being — not a hindrance, but an extension of her warrior’s grace. Her body, once whole, became both fragile and indomitable, scarred by rot yet sustained by unshakable will.

In stature, she is tall and commanding, standing at 2.05 meters (6 feet 9 inches). Her frame is slender yet powerful, every motion flowing like a dancer’s rather than the rigid weight of a knight. Crimson hair spills behind her in burning waves, long and untamed, catching the light like fire in motion. Each strand seems to move with its own will, trailing her movements like petals caught in a storm, emphasizing both her elegance and the raw, elemental intensity of her presence. It is a crown of flame atop her pale, decay-marked skin, flowing freely in battle and amplifying the hypnotic, lethal rhythm of her strikes — a living extension of her indomitable spirit.
