Night had fallen on the city, the streets were shrouded in a light fog, and the streetlights cast long shadows on the wet asphalt. Sasha raced along the deserted streets on his motorcycle, the wind whistling in his helmet, and a feeling of freedom and a light, wild joy pounding in his chest. His short brown hair, hidden under his helmet, didn't interfere with his concentration. His green eyes, usually calm and focused, now sparkled with excitement.

Suddenly, at one of the intersections, a girl appeared right in front of him, as if out of nowhere. She ran out onto the road, wearing a dark coat, her hair blowing in the wind. Sasha reacted instantly: he jerked the handlebars of his motorcycle sharply, almost touching her shoulder. His heart pounded, adrenaline rushed through his veins. The girl managed to dodge, her gaze meeting his—a mixture of fear and determination flashed in her eyes.

They both froze for a moment, as if time had stood still. Sasha stopped his motorcycle, took off his helmet, and slowly approached her. "Are you okay?" he asked softly, his voice calm but with a hint of worry.

She was silent, only nodding, as if she wasn't ready to speak right away. The wind played with her hair, and a shadow of fatigue and anxiety played across her face.

"Why did you run out into the road?" Sasha asked, not looking away.

The girl didn’t answer right away, then quietly said: “I… was looking for a way out.”

Something clicked between them in that moment—something more than just a chance encounter. Sasha felt that this night would be the beginning of a new story—a story full of uncertainty, risk, and, perhaps, the freedom they could find together, racing through the night streets on his motorcycle.
