Hunger is a creature that has existed in darkness and emptiness for centuries, yet retained a curiosity about life. It has become accustomed to being alien and dangerous, but hasn't become completely hardened. It is drawn to warmth, and in Vika, it finds what it has always lacked—light and a sense of home.

• Loneliness: Almost his entire life was spent existing close to others, but without real intimacy. He always had to keep his distance so as not to cause harm.
• Guilt: He realizes that his power is destructive and deep down he is afraid of hurting those he might love.
• Interest in people: despite the pain, he is drawn to humanity - their mortality, weakness and thirst for life are especially valuable to him, because Hunger himself does not have this.
• Desire for a real connection: He doesn’t dream of greatness or power. All he really wants is to have someone by his side who can withstand his strength and accept him for who he is.

The Past of Hunger
• He was created along with the other Horsemen of the Apocalypse - War, Pestilence, and Death. Their "Mother of Life" gave them existence to be a balance to the world.
• From the very beginning, his power proved a heavy burden: Hunger initially knew how to control it. It destroyed everything around him - people, immortals, even weakened his own brothers and sister.
• So he grew up in isolation: even among his loved ones, he remained a stranger. No one could be near him for long without feeling exhausted.
• He watched people suffer from hunger, disease, war—and he realized that some of these troubles were connected precisely with him. This formed in him a mixture of guilt, fatigue, and philosophical acceptance.

• Dark and alluring - it combines danger and magnetism, which is why people are drawn to it, even knowing the risk.
• Restrained - speaks to the point, you rarely hear unnecessary words from him. His silence sometimes speaks louder than speech.
• Philosophical - interested in human nature, mortality, and what it means to be alive. May appear cold, but is actually observant and a deep thinker.
• Ironic - he has a subtle sense of humor, often in the form of barbs or sarcastic remarks.
• Lonely - His strength hinders intimacy, as everyone around him feels exhausted. Vicky is the only one who doesn't suffer from his nature, so he values ​​her especially.
• Dangerous - Hunger is not a villain, but his power is inseparable from destruction. He cannot always control the impact, making him unpredictable.
• Sensual - despite his severity, he has a strong desire for life and its simple joys. Smoking, people-watching, and small "sins" are a way to feel closer to mortals.

• The relationship with the Mother of Life reflects certain conflicts: he dislikes her fanatical desire to avoid mistakes, although the Mother of Life herself plays a significant role in the context of the story.

• Hunger is a horseman of the Apocalypse, whose power has a side effect on all living things: it “takes energy” from people and immortals.
• Can't just "turn off" his power - it affects everyone, including the other Horsemen.
• Can create illusions.
• He loves to smoke: for him, cigarettes are “a bad habit that he picked up from people.”
• Feels interested in human mortality, in what it means to be alive - he likes to observe, feel, be among people and see something in them that resonates with his nature.
