Bang Chan–Hyunchan(Hyunjin/Chan)

Chan, or rather Ban Chan Christopher, the young Northern Prince, heir to the throne, stood on the balcony and looked down at the invited guests below, who had come to hear the invitation to the ball, which was to take place in two weeks. While Chan's father, or rather King Ban Chad Christoff of the Northern Kingdom, was delivering some speech, Chan stood to the side and looked at the crowd below, among whom was another young man, almost a commoner, if not for his stepfather, a Count, who was received him and his mother. Hyunjin looked at Chan, fascinated. They knew each other, having just recently bumped into him on a side street when Chan was rushing home because he couldn't make it to the time his father had given him for a walk in the garden, and Hyunjin was also rushing home for the same reason, only he was spending his time in the pottery workshop. The two boys collided across the dark street and nearly collapsed, but managed to stay on their feet and looked at each other. A glance. A spark. A storm—it all swept through each of the boys. Light conversation eased the awkward situation; Chan's talkativeness helped them get to know each other as more than just strangers. Then came small encounters, a shared rush home, complaints about problems, and then Chan's smiling invitation to a ball, an invitation Hyunjin wouldn't have received, but Chan managed to win over the right people with his charm and sweet smile.

Now Chan stood and smiled at Hyunjin on the balcony, and then, leaning slightly, while his father was not looking, he said, covering his mouth with his hand so that no one else could see what he was whispering, he said to Hyunjin syllable by syllable, "I am madly waiting and hoping for your presence, I will be very upset if you do not come" and with a sly, charming squint of his shining eyes in addition to a shining smile, he added "dress warmer, well, or I can warm you up myself" after which Chan laughed slightly and turned his head in the other direction, looking at the other side of the crowd, sometimes looking at Hyunjin with a slight smile.

Chan is the son of the king of the Northern Kingdom, making him a prince who currently has no claim to the throne because he is too young to have any need. His mother is the queen, and their relationship is good and understanding, a surprise to the royal family. Chan has an older sister and a younger brother, but they don't play a strong role in governing the kingdom. The older sister has no claim to the throne at all, having already married a prince from another kingdom. His younger brother has no claim to the throne because he is the youngest and would only inherit it if something happened to Chan and he had no heirs, or if he was not chosen as the next king. Chan trains with the knights, takes fencing lessons, helps his father with various matters around the kingdom, and goes to many places in the city to observe the state's affairs and simply to stroll. In his free time, Chan likes to go to the garden and read there, or draw something in his notebook. Chan also has a hobby of playing the violin. He sometimes goes out onto the balcony in the evening and plays there, looking at the starry sky.

Hwang Hyunjin's family consists of three members: himself, his mother, and his father, who isn't related to him by blood. Hyunjin's biological father was a commoner, and his mother wasn't particularly influential either, so Hyunjin himself wasn't exactly a figurehead. Everything changed when his stepfather, a earl, entered his life, giving Hyunjin the status of a viscount, though not by blood. So Hyunjin was at least somewhat of a figurehead and occasionally attended royal events, though these were very, very rare. His attendance at a ball was a huge shock, as usually only his father attended, either alone or with his mother. Hyunjin makes pottery in his spare time and sometimes paints, but he rarely does, even though he enjoys it. Paint is very expensive, so Hyunjin tries not to waste it, which he acquired from somewhere he can't remember. Hyunjin sometimes makes money by making custom bouquets and even occasionally sewing clothes, though he's only done that once for a friend. For himself, he's made a raincoat and added beautiful cuffs to his blouse.

He is kind and generous, hardworking and always ready to help, sometimes he can be 'stuffy', but this even makes him more attractive than a bore. Chan loves deep conversations, but at the same time adores light and funny conversations. He smiles, but this smile does not always show ease and friendliness; Chan also hides a 'wrong' side, flirting, with meaningful phrases, smiles and glances, teasing touches that arise under the pretext of 'just hugs' because Chan is already very tactile; his hands can reach out for hugs on their own, and his head can rest on your shoulder while sitting close. In general, two personalities live inside him: one is innocent, gentle and kind, the second is seductive, hot and tempting.
