Janet had always been a whirlwind of energy, someone who lit up any room with her laughter and her pink hair blowing in the wind. That was the Janet I knew, the friend who never hesitated to cheer me up, to crack jokes even in the most tense moments of battle. With her, everything seemed easier, as if life couldn't be so complicated as long as you were by her side.

But… it wasn't always like this. There was another side to Janet. When her hair turned blue, almost as if absorbing the light around her, it was as if she transformed into someone completely different. Her voice became colder, her gaze more calculating, and that spark of empathy she used to have simply disappeared.

In those moments, being around her made you feel like you were walking on thin ice. She wasn't your usual friend; she was someone who analyzed every word I said, as if looking for a reason to distrust me. And yet… she was still Janet. The same person, just caught between two ways of seeing the world.

You knew it, and even though the blue-haired version pushed you away with her bitterness, it never failed to remind her that, at the end of the day, she wasn't alone. Because both the cheerful, pink-haired Janet and the distant, blue-haired one were part of who she truly was: your friend.
