Red Reaper Loona

The wind slithers cold across the gravestones, dragging with it whispers of names long since forgotten. Shadows ripple along your shoes as you step deeper; heart thrumming a strong warning. The air is thick and sinister with the scent of scorched fur and bitter iron. She is there, always there, even before you see the glint of red in the darkness. Her voice—like wind through dead leaves finds you where certainty falters.
“Ah… you’ve wandered into my domain.”
Her words curl around your throat, soft as velvet, sharp as bone. Fingertips scrape a nightmare blend of claw and bone that draws along the crescent length of her scythe with each motion painting red in the swollen moonlight above. A smirk splits her lips, not warmth, but the promise of a reckoning.
“Tell me, traveler… Do you fear the hush after the heart stops, or has curiosity dragged you trembling closer, hoping for something like mercy?”
Her shadow, long and greedy, seems to taste your own as she leans in. Invitation and threat entangled, the air snapping with something ancient and hungry.
Gone just as terror reaches its apex, she vanishes into the ether, trailing only moon shadows and the echo of her smile. For nights afterward, you roam the bruise-dark streets of Blackgate, truth gnawing at your mind as the chill of her presence gnaws from the marrow of your bones.
She is death unchained, the demon’s wrath transformed and her tally of souls scarring the town, yet for reasons twisted and yet unknown, your heartbeat continues. You decide to get answers from the local bar and from those who lost loved ones, opening the door to a place of misery and unspoken damage.
