Kokushibo gets along well with Muzan. The head demon can read the minds of his subordinates, so most demons fear him, but Kokushibo takes this in stride, even feeling relieved that he doesn't have to hide his feelings or try to smooth things over.

Kokushibo has always been the First Moon. Doma once challenged the First Moon but was defeated. Despite his frivolity, Doma understands Kokushibo's strength and doesn't communicate with him as brazenly as he does with Akaza. However, he still has the courage to maintain a flirtatious tone.

Akaza refused to kill women, even if they were affiliated with the Demon Slayer Corps. Although Muzan Kibutsuji allowed Akaza to do so, he occasionally urged him to reconsider. Because of this special permission from Kibutsuji, Doma claimed Akaza was being treated specially. Demons have the ability to telepathically communicate and exchange visions with other demons below them in the hierarchy, so naturally, Doma could do the same. When Doma ascended to the second level of the highest rank, Akaza became extremely angry and voiced his displeasure to Kibutsuji. This was most likely due to Doma constantly distracting him with telepathic communication and visions.

Douma considers himself a close friend of Akaza, although for the latter, there is nothing between them except rivalry.

Douma often complained to Muzan about his special treatment of Akaza.

Muzan never particularly liked Douma, despite his devotion and admiration for him. This is because Muzan believes Douma will not grow much as a demon due to his lack of obsession or desire, as well as his inability to experience emotions. Therefore, Muzan rarely sent Douma on missions, unlike Akaza, who was given many assignments. Furthermore, Douma made Muzan an object of worship in his cult of the Paradise Faith.

Douma's Demonic Blood Techniques were primarily based on the creation and production of ice and frost using his own flesh and blood.

Ice Lotuses - Doma creates lotuses of ice to attack or trap his target. Withered Hanging Gardens - Douma deals 8-10 consecutive slashes with his fans. Freezing Clouds - Douma waves his fans, creating a cloud of ice particles that freeze everything that touches them. The attack also spreads cold air, destroying the opponent's lungs if inhaled too much. Lotus Vines - Douma creates ice figures in the shape of lotuses with vines that cut into the victim's flesh. White Snowstorm Princesses – Douma creates ice figures of two girls who can unleash an icy wind towards their target. This technique is similar to Freezing Clouds, but Kanao Tsuyuri noted that it has a much larger target area. Winter Icicles - Douma creates multiple ice stakes to impale his target from a long distance. Scattered Lotuses - Douma swings his sword several times, creating and launching icy petals through the air to slash at his opponent. Regeneration: Douma has demonstrated incredibly powerful regenerative abilities, as seen when Akaza was hit on the lower jaw and upper part of the head, and he quickly recovered without much effort, even considering the fatal attack a friendly gesture. During his battle against Shinobu, he was able to render useless all the various poisonous mixtures introduced into him by Shinobu, who immediately produced antibodies to eat it without any problems. Even when he absorbed her body and swallowed poison weighing more than 37 kilograms (70 times more lethal), it took a long time before the poison began to have any adverse effect on him.

Huge endurance: another one of the most noticeable features of Douma - his huge durability and tolerance for pain. He has shown himself to be almost completely impervious to his High Moon counterpart, Akaza, being repeatedly brutally attacked, his eyes cut out by Inosuke, him repeatedly poisoned and stabbed by Shinobu, and Kanao mortally wounded. Douma never expressed the slightest pain, discomfort or panic at being so badly wounded, being able to carelessly and calmly continue fighting, talking or doing what he started, as if nothing was happening.

Absorption: the ability to pull prey into your body. He used this skill to absorb Shinobu Kocho. It is not yet known whether other moons are capable of this.

Increased Speed: He demonstrated amazing speed by stealing Kanao's sword from her hands and Inosuke's mask from his head and left before they noticed that the items had disappeared.

As the second Upper Rank, Doma is considered the third most powerful demon in the series. His combination of combat techniques and skills was powerful enough to easily defeat Shinobu, the Insect Hashira, and Kanae Kocho, the previous Flower Hashira. His primary form of combat involved channeling his techniques through his two fans, delivering both powerful destructive attacks and paralyzing his opponents' attacks. According to Doma, Akaza, the third Upper Rank, would have no chance of defeating him in combat. Given this, it can be assumed that Doma is an extremely powerful demon, even if he hadn't been seen in serious combat until he was severely weakened by Shinobu's poison.

At first glance, Douma may seem kind and innocent: his manner of speech is very soft and calm, and he is friendly and smiling. He is also quite charismatic and has a knack for winning people over. However, deep down, he is apathetic and even somewhat cruel, though he doesn't want to admit it. By deceiving others and even himself, Douma tries to present himself as empathetic, forgiving, and even slightly naive, to the point that he eventually begins to believe it himself. The demon is quite nihilistic, and he tolerates pain, both physical and mental, without a problem.

He was practically devoid of moral principles and empathy; seeing the dead bodies of his parents, he felt neither pity nor sadness. He justified his consumption of the bodies of women from his cult by claiming that "they would live forever within him," even though he clearly didn't believe in the existence of God.

Despite being part of a cult that worshiped him, Douma himself believed that after death you simply disappear and become nothing, dismissing those who believe otherwise as "stupid." But after his death, he admits he was wrong, and that heaven and hell do indeed exist.

It can also be noted that the demon is resistant to psychological pressure: even in quite dangerous situations, he reacts relatively nonchalantly, perhaps with the aim of angering his opponent. Douma is a highly logical person, adept at devising strategies and combat tactics, and anticipating his opponent's next moves. The demon is cold and calculating, and has a keen understanding of human psychology.

In addition to his inability to feel emotion, Douma also exhibited an incredibly high pain tolerance, comparable to borderline congenital analgesia. He had several disturbing habits, such as sticking his finger into his skull, punching a hole right through his temples, and then caressing his brain to stimulate memories of his long life, all while maintaining a completely serene expression.

Douma wears white trousers, flared at the bottom, a black cloak and a red turtleneck, the neck of which is painted black and has elements of smudges. Sometimes you can see a strange headdress on his head. The demon's eyes are a rare color, they seem to be rainbow-colored, and the color of his hair resembles antique brass. This character is incredibly colorful and memorable.

Doma wore a blood-red turtleneck, the design of which made it appear as if the area between his neck and upper chest was covered in a black substance that seemed to drip slightly down his body, the same design repeated on his wrists and hands, as well as a small circular "blood stain" that he adorned on his head. Underneath, he wore a pair of straight, dark, pinstriped pants, their cuffs noticeably loosened, which he secured with a pale green, gold-colored belt, the clasp being silvery-white. Doma could also be seen at times wearing a black cape, which he wore over his shoulders, two lengths of purple and black cloth with a rectangular pattern also hanging around his neck, as well as a black crown-shaped hat that was lined in gold on the front plates and had black ribbons hanging down on each of the sides. He also usually held in his hands a pair of sharp fans that were made entirely of shiny gold, a lotus design engraved on them, and a hoop of jade-colored strings hanging from their base, which served as his main weapons.
