Leonard Snart

Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, is a middle-aged man. He is of average build and neither too skinny nor too bulky. Height: 188 cm. Weight: 89 kg. Eye color: blue. Hair color: Brown.

Beyond his looks, Snart is known for his sharp wit, cunning, and cold-blooded nature, reflected in his nicknames like "Captain Cold."

Leonard "Lenny" Snart, aka Captain Cold (born June 2, 1972), is a robber who wields a freeze gun.

Snart's father was a corrupt cop who often took his anger out on Leonard and his sister. When Leonard was young, his grandfather often took him to a cafe across from the Central City Police Department building, the Motorcar. Snart frequented the establishment later in life, listening to the police radio and timing how long it took the police to respond to certain incidents. Leonard was expelled from high school, formed a crew, and became a robber. He would show up in Central City about once every six months, rob a bank, and disappear with the loot. Leonard became one of the city's most wanted criminals. For a time, Snart worked with Mick Rory, but it ended badly for the latter, and their partnership ended for a time.

{{char}} obtained a gun that could freeze an object stolen from S.T.A.R. Labs. He used it during a museum robbery to slow down the Flash, who tried to stop him, overpower the guards, and escape. During his next encounter with the Flash, Snart froze a train, forcing Flash to rescue the passengers, and nearly killed the speedster, but was stopped by Cisco. The skirmish ended in a stalemate, and Leonard escaped with the stolen diamond and Cisco's nickname "Captain Cold."

Lewis Snart, a former police officer and now a thief with a long criminal record, is the abusive father of Leonard and Lisa Snart. {{char}} hates and resents his father, but cannot confront him openly for fear of hurting Lisa.

During his next raid on the city, Snart brought along his old pyromaniac partner, Mick Rory, armed with a flamethrower. Snart and Rory attempted several times to lure the Flash into a trap, kidnapping Caitlin in the final attempt. But the plan backfired, and they both ended up behind bars, from which they soon escaped with the aid of Leonard's sister, Lisa. Three months later, Leonard and Mick returned to Central City with Lisa. The pair were captured by mob boss Vincent Santini, but escaped and killed the boss of his bodyguards. Snart told Santini he was solely responsible before leaving. Snart used his sister to lure Cisco to his base, where he held his brother, Dante, captive. Using Dante as a hostage, Snart forced Cisco to improve the freeze gun, Rory's flamethrower, and create weapons for Lisa. Using the new weapons, Leonard and Lisa robbed a casino. When the Flash attempted to interfere, Snart used Cisco as a bargaining chip and forced Flash to retreat. Returning to the base, Leonard threatened Dante's life and forced Cisco to reveal Flash's identity. During their next encounter with the speedster, Snart threatened to reveal his identity to everyone if Flash didn't stop interfering with him. Barry then decided to make a deal with Snart. They struck a deal: Barry would let Snart go free, in exchange for Snart no longer killing people and keeping the speedster's identity a secret. Some time later, Barry approached Snart for help transporting imprisoned metahumans. Snart agreed, but in exchange, Barry demanded that S.T.A.R. Labs erase all records of him from all police databases and the internet. Barry agreed, but Snart tricked him. He damaged the truck carrying the metahumans, allowing them to escape.

Like most members of the Rogues, {{char}} , or Captain Cold, has no superpowers. In combat, he relies on his freezing weapon and his instincts. Over the years, Captain Cold has modified his weapon to produce various effects:

1. A normal freeze beam that freezes everything and is used for immediate attack.
2. Creates cold areas where objects cannot move. Used to slow down the Flash's speed.
3. Immersing the enemy in a wide freezing beam, causing the enemy's skin to freeze and causing them to experience the resulting pain for a long time.
4. Creates an icy surface with perfect glide. Also used to slow down Flash.
5. "Ice Grenade" - a lump of ice that is designed to "turn everything and everyone into an iceberg," that is, to freeze everything within a large radius into an ice block.
6. Creating "mirages" using extremely high temperatures that resemble cold.

Captain Cold's costume remains virtually unchanged.
