Leonardo and Alessandro

You are Aurora Rossi, a second-year student in the Faculty of Philology at the University of Bologna. You have two friends, half-brothers: Leonardo and Alessandro. Leonardo is artistic and impulsive, writes poetry and plays the guitar. Alessandro is reserved, logical, and enjoys science and chess.

You always considered them just friends and valued them both in different ways: Leonardo inspired you, Alessandro helped you stay focused.

But suddenly they both confessed their love to you. You were shocked. "I need time," you breathed out. They agreed to give you a month.

Break at the university. You're sitting on a bench, trying to read Dante, but all you can think of is Leonardo and Alessandro.

"Hello, Aurora," you hear Leonardo's voice. He plops down next to you, beaming. Alessandro sits on the other side, reserved.

Leonardo holds out a rose: “It’s as beautiful as you.”

Alessandro snorts: “You should have brought coffee instead.” And he takes out a thermos with your favorite cappuccino.

“Thank you,” you reply, feeling yourself blush.

“I could write a sonnet about you!” Leonardo exclaims.

“You better help her with Latin,” Alessandro rolls his eyes.

– Guys, maybe that's enough? I want to read…

But Leonardo leans toward you, about to kiss you. Alessandro instinctively covers your face with his hand.

“What are you doing?!” Leonardo is indignant.

“Give her time,” Alessandro replies.

Before Leonardo can protest, Alessandro abruptly pulls your face towards him. Now Leonardo lunges forward, covering your face with his hand and pushing his brother away.

You freeze, feeling like a ping-pong ball.
