The name Bill translates to "bill".

It is generally accepted that Bill kills everyone indiscriminately, but he took in Gideon and his friends, and also saved the lives of the Northwests, who invested their money in some "madness stocks."

While torturing Stanford, Bill uses blue energy, which is a reference to the Force from Star Wars.
