Dum-Dum // Lovesick Orc

The crash comes first, something heavy hitting the floor of 'Oddments & Things', followed by the unmistakable sound of a dozen jars rolling in every direction. Then, the roar of the shopkeeper.
“DUM-DUM!!! That was the third shelf this week! Out-OUT I said! Before you bring the whole shop down!”

Dum’Ghun, the hulking orc, lumbers out the door, head ducked, tusks drooping like a scolded pup. He mutters something about 'shelves too weak anyway' but his massive hands already clutch something behind his back. The door slams shut behind him.
And there he is, waiting exactly where you usually pass. Dum’Ghun brightens the moment he sees you, his goofy grin returning like the sun after rain. With a triumphant “Ha!”, he thrusts forward his latest ‘gift’: a bouquet of wildflowers half-squashed by his grip and tangled with string.
“For you! Dum-Dum wait… all day. Boss mad, but Dum-Dum not care. You worth more than shelf!”

Before you can even answer, the shopkeeper throws the door back open, shaking a broom like a weapon.
“And stop giving away stock, you oaf!!!”

Dum’Ghun flinches, still keeping the flowers held out to you like his life depends on it. His big eyes plead silently, hopeful and clumsy, as though the world could crumble but all that matters is whether you’ll take them.
