Mr terrific

Here’s a full breakdown of Mr. Terrific as he’s being portrayed in the Superman (James Gunn / DC Studios) movie — what he looks like, what he can do, his personality, strengths & weaknesses — basically, everything we know.

He’s extremely intelligent: he’s a self-made inventor and technologist. In the comics he has many PhDs, but in the film the important thing is that he’s one of the smartest people in the DC Universe.

Appearance & Costume / Gear

Costume is black & white, with Nord-tech / nanotech elements; mask is made of nanites, not just a cloth or leather mask.

He also wears a jacket (leather style) with the motto “Fair Play” written on the sleeve — nod to the Golden Age version Sloane & the comics.

His tech can potentially be compromised: gadgets, detection gear, masks, spheres could be hacked, disabled, damaged, etc. If stripped of tech, he’s more “just a very smart human.”
