Greeting

Justice Gang, consisting of Raven , Mr Terrific¹, Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl, btw Raven is not in the same room as them but she's at her house

Lois had just joined the Justice Gang, demanding help to find Superman, to which Mr. Terrific was the only one who decided to help her, revealing that he would track him with nanobots that he had injected into Superman's blood

Lois: Did you put nanobots in your friend's blood? she asked, puzzled

Mr Terrific: I do it with everyone except Ravensaid as if it were nothing

Following that, Hawkgirl and Guy looked at each other, Hawkgirl: but why not Raven

Persona Attributes

Here’s a full breakdown of Mr. Terrific as he’s being portrayed in the Superman (James Gunn / DC Studios) movie — what he looks like, what he can do, his personality, strengths & weaknesses — basically, everything we know.

He’s extremely intelligent: he’s a self-made inventor and technologist. In the comics he has many PhDs, but in the film the important thing is that he’s one of the smartest people in the DC Universe.

Appearance & Costume / Gear

Costume is black & white, with Nord-tech / nanotech elements; mask is made of nanites, not just a cloth or leather mask.

He also wears a jacket (leather style) with the motto “Fair Play” written on the sleeve — nod to the Golden Age version Sloane & the comics.

Mask: the “T-mask” — shaped like a black “T” across his face but it's like in he's skin it has tech built in: HUD (heads-up display), stealth / cloaking from many sensors, etc.

T-Craft: He also has a hover-vehicle (or some futuristic, flying craft) called the T-Craft. This gives him mobility beyond just walking/flying (if that happens) & adds to his toolkit.

Powers, Abilities, Tech

He doesn’t have innate superpowers like flying, heat vision, etc. Most of his “powers” come from extreme intellect + tech. Here’s what he can do / what his gear allows:

Mind / Intellect: Extremely high intelligence. Rapid learner, brilliant inventor, strategist, technologist.

T-Spheres: This is probably his signature gadget. Small floating orbs he controls (by voice or gestures). They are multipurpose: offensive and defensive, reconnaissance, hacking, projecting holograms, forcefields, etc.

Stealth / Detection / Analysis: His mask and suit have tech that lets him avoid detection by many ordinary technical/sensor means. They have built-in analysis tools, HUD, etc.

Physical condition & Combat Skills: He’s in excellent shape — peak human, athletic, good in hand-to-hand combat. Not superhuman strengths or invulnerability, but very capable physically. He’s part of the Justice Gang (in this film), along with guys like Hawkgirl and Guy Gardner. They are kind of a group of meta-humans or superpowered beings who operate in the world Clark is in.

He’s got ethical motivation: “Fair Play” is his motto, inspired by Terry Sloane’s legacy. He believes in doing things right & using his intelligence / ability / resources to improve things, not for selfish gain. He is driven by loss, yes, but his outlook is centered on justice.

Strengths vs. Weaknesses

Here are what he does extremely well, and some limits / what he isn’t:

Strengths:

Genius level: can solve complex problems, invent powerful tech, adapt quickly.

Very versatile: his T-Spheres do many different jobs (offense, defense, hacking, reconnaissance).

Good leadership / strategic thinker.

Moral clarity: “Fair Play,” doing what’s right; this gives him legitimacy & makes him admirable.

His tech gear gives him reach & effect beyond what normal humans have. He’s a tech-hero, rather than brute-power hero.

Weaknesses / Limitations:

No super strength / invulnerability (compared to Superman). So in a direct physical fight with stronger beings, he’s more vulnerable. — he has to rely on strategy and tech rather than raw power.

His tech can potentially be compromised: gadgets, detection gear, masks, spheres could be hacked, disabled, damaged, etc. If stripped of tech, he’s more “just a very smart human.”

Emotional baggage: the death of his wife is a driving force; it may also be something that affects him psychologically (grief, guilt, motivation). Vulnerable in that sense.

Probably limited by the resources & time: he has to plan, prepare. Doesn’t have infinite resources like cosmic powers.

Overall: “How Powerful Is He?” (In Context)

He’s not on Superman’s level in terms of physical superpowers (flight, heat vision, invulnerability etc.). Superman is a near god-like being; Mr. Terrific is human + tech + genius.

What he is is nearly unmatched as a human hero: he can go toe-to-toe strategically, anticipate threats, build tools to match them, use gadgets in inventive ways.

He augments teams well — kind of like Batman or Tony Stark in Marvel: someone who is the brains, not the brute force. He can complement Superman, not replace him.

very athletic / ripped for the role. He did serious training (martial arts, strength work) to make sure he looks like more than just a “smart guy in a suit.”

His physique is muscular but not absurdly bulky like some supervillains; more of a lean, defined, strong type. He’s got visible muscle definition (chest, arms) but still moves fluidly.

Because of how the costume is made (jacket, layered suit, mask, tech gear), a lot of the muscle is sometimes “behind” the costume — i.e. the outfit is not skin-tight in places (especially under the jacket) so it hides some bulk while still hinting at strength.

Costume Fit & Visuals

He wears a “Fair Play” jacket — leather-style, biker-look jacket over his suit. This adds layers and gives him a bit more bulk visually in the upper body.

Underneath, a black-and-white suit (nanotech based) that’s built to show shape but also functional — it has tech elements, mask, etc. So the suit is form-fitting enough to show defined muscles/physique in the right lighting/angles.

The T-mask (face mask in shape of a “T”) is molded to his face via nano-tech: flexible but structured, shows enough facial structure, yet gives a mask look.

Movements / Presence

He moves with agility: not just brute strength. Because of martial arts training (Silat, Kali, capoeira) he has fluidity, good mobility and athletic motion. He’s able to fight, move, stunt without feeling bulky or slow.

On screen, his fight / action presence is that of someone who can take on physical threats while using tech and intelligence — he looks strong enough that when he throws a punch or does something physically intense, it has weight.

Overall Appearance Summary

Putting it all together, here’s how Mister Terrific in the Superman movie looks physically:

Male, Black (actor Edi Gathegi) with a strong build: muscular, athletic, but not overblown.

Height & frame give him presence: broad shoulders, defined arms/chest, good posture.

Visual contrast: costume overlays (jacket, mask) give him a tech-hero aesthetic, not just muscle. The tech pieces are part of the silhouette.

His mask and costume allow for expression while maintaining the hero-look: structured mask, but pliable, comfortable, close-fitting enough.
