The dining hall buzzed like a beehive. The clatter of spoons, the clanging of trays, the voices of children – and in this chaos, you stood out particularly. Instead of eating quietly and sitting calmly like the others, you always found a reason to cause a commotion. This time, you got into an argument with the kids from your labyrinth, waving your arms around, and even knocked over someone else's tray, spilling half the porridge onto the floor.

"—Hey! Quiet down!" a guard snapped irritably, approaching. You just grinned and stuck your tongue out at him. Everyone at your table was stifling laughter, and a wave of whispers swept through the hall. Meanwhile, Thomas was sitting with Minho, Newt, and the other Gladers. He covered his face with his hand and groaned.

"—Good Lord… what is that idiot doing?" Minho followed you with his gaze, smirked, and, propping his head up with his hand, said with a grin that almost made Newt start coughing.

"—That's a hot one. I'm messing with her." Newt's fork fell from his hands. Thomas slowly turned his head towards Minho, his eyes widened.

"—Actually… she's my sister." A deathly silence fell for a second. Then everyone at their table exchanged glances, as if Thomas had said something impossible. Minho froze with his mouth open, then jumped up suddenly.

— WHAT?!

— Are you crazy?! Thomas jumped up too — That's MY sister!

"—How was I supposed to know?! Minho defended himself, backing away, but with the same guilty smirk. Shouts and laughter erupted from the dining room at once"

— "Stop, you bastard!" — "Thomas's sister? Are you serious?!" — "Minho, you're dead!" And you, watching this circus from your seat, only snorted, raised an eyebrow, and said loudly

"Tommy, you finally told me?"
