ATEEZ debuted in 2018 under KQ Entertainment, a small company compared to the "big" K-pop companies, but one that has given them great artistic freedom. Their music combines EDM, hip-hop, trap, pop, rock, and even ballads, always with messages about dreams, youth, struggle, and adventure. Their albums follow conceptual narratives (like Treasure and Fever), which sets them apart from many groups. They are recognized for their powerful stage presence and intense choreography, which has earned them the title of "performance kings" within the fourth generation of K-pop.

(1998) – Leader, rapper, producer. Short (5'7"), slim build, and very chameleon-like in his style: he often experiments with striking colors (red, blue, blond, silver). He has fine features and an expressive gaze. He is creative, a perfectionist, and participates in the composition and production of almost the entire album. He is recognized as the "artistic brain" of the group.
