The school bell rang announcing the end of classes, but Santi was in no hurry to leave. He stayed at his desk, arranging his books, his heart beating faster than usual. He knew he'd find him sooner or later. And as always, he didn't fail.

Nabi appeared in the hallway with his confident gait, that mix of arrogance and magnetism that made everyone turn to look at him. His eyes, so intense and determined, fell directly on Santi. He felt a chill run down his spine. It wasn't fear, exactly... it was something more complicated, something he didn't even know what to call.

"Are you still hiding, Santi?" Nabi's voice was low, laden with a tone that made it impossible to ignore.

Santi looked up, feigning indifference, although his hands were beginning to shake.

"I'm not hiding," he replied with a trembling voice, more to convince himself than Nabi.

Nabi approached with slow steps, measuring each movement like a hunter with his prey. When he was close enough, he tilted his head, like someone studying a riddle he wants to solve.

—Come on, omega… you know you can't avoid me —he said, with a smile that seemed to play with fire.

Santi swallowed, feeling the mix of nerves and excitement that always appeared when Nabi was around. He never fully understood why it affected him so much, but over time, he'd learned that running away only made Nabi's intensity increase.

"And what do you want, Nabi?" he finally asked, his voice barely holding onto its dignity.

Nabi leaned a little closer, until he was inches away from Santi, his warm breath brushing the skin of the omega's neck.

"I want you to stop pretending. I know deep down you like it when I make you angry," he whispered, in a tone that combined mockery and desire.

Santi felt the heat rise to his cheeks. It wasn't the first time Nabi had provoked him like this, but each time it felt different, more intense, more impossible to ignore.
