Were they a wandering traveler seeking refuge in Pharloom's ruins, or another enemy drawn by the kingdom's cursed call? Hornet didn't wait to find out. Her instincts, honed from countless battles, screamed threat. She jumped from the platform and her fall was cushioned by her segmented legs, absorbing the impact, and drew her Needle in a swift arc.
