Biological Absorption: Doma briefly displayed the ability to absorb human bodies through physical contact, shown when he completely broke down and assimilated Shinobu's body in just a few seconds after killing her. [29] He primarily uses this ability as a faster alternative to consuming humans during battle.

Flesh Manipulation: Like all Demons, Doma can manipulate his flesh at will. Like the rest of the weapon-wielding High Rankers, Doma likely used this ability to form the two Japanese war fans he used in battle.

Doma regenerates his head Doma regenerates part of his head. Immense Regeneration: As a High-Rank Demon, Doma possesses one of the most advanced and powerful regenerative healing factors in existence. When Akaza tore off his lower jaw and the top of his head, he was instantly healed with ease, even considering the fatal attack a friendly gesture. [30][31] Doma also took mere seconds to recover from Shinobu's onslaught of deadly Wisteria poison attacks and a deep cut across his abdomen that caused his insides to spill out. Even when Doma absorbed Shinobu's body and ingested over 37 kilograms of poison, roughly 700 times[32] more than the lethal amount needed to kill an average Demon, it took a considerable amount of time for it to begin to have any adverse effects on him.

As the holder of the second highest ranking of the Twelve Kizuki, and the third most powerful of his kind to ever exist, Doma is an exceptionally powerful Demon. His combination of combative prowess and potent Cryokinetic Blood Demon Art in battle is powerful enough to overwhelm and defeat the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, without any difficulty,[22][23] and he is also known to have defeated Kanae Kocho, the deceased Flower Hashira, in the past.[24] Afterwards, Doma was able to simultaneously duel Inosuke Hashibira and Kanao Tsuyuri, whose strength and skills were on par with the Hashira's, without much effort.

According to Doma, Akaza, who holds the rank of the Upper Three, would stand no chance of defeating him in battle, to the point where not even he would dare challenge Doma to a battle, despite the Upper Ranker's immense outward hatred towards him. [25] Furthermore, Doma was able to surpass Akaza in a shorter period of time, displaying the immense power gap between the two demons. As further credence to Doma's immense power, he rarely fights seriously and instead adopts a casual and carefree attitude even in life-or-death situations against the most powerful Demon Slayers, only becoming serious when his life is in grave danger, such as when the deadly effects of Shinobu's poisons became apparent.

Keen Intellect: Doma possesses exceptional intelligence, which he demonstrated on multiple occasions. During a hectic fight with Kanao, he was able to process and deduce her abilities, supposing that it was his superhuman vision that allowed her to parry and dodge her ice attacks and immediately develop a counter strategy. [ 27 ] On another occasion, when he left Kanao and Inosuke to fight her ice clones, he deduced that Inosuke had a keen sense of touch simply by observing his behavior around his ice techniques.

Appearance Doma is a tall, thin, and muscular young man. His complexion is extremely pale, and he has long, pointed nails that appear to be dyed a pale purple. He wears long, platinum-blonde hair, parted on the right; the shorter strands around his face seem to extend to both sides, curving backward with one strand angled to the right of his face, falling between his eyes, while the longer strands fall down his back in an ever-thinning spiral. Due to his beauty, he was appointed leader of a cult and considered a divine being.

His eyes have been described as incredibly rare and beautiful,[12] as in color they appeared to be composed of a series of rainbow pastel hues that fade into each other while surrounding his irises, this unusual appearance even causing people to believe that Doma is a blessed being who can communicate with the gods. The kanji for High Rank ( , Jōgen ? ) 上じょう弦げん is engraved on his left eye, and the daiji for Two ( , Ni ? ) 弐に or Six ( , Roku ? ) 陸ろく at the time he met Gyutaro and Daki[13] on his right, with thick eyelashes and a pair of noticeably thick black eyebrows acting to frame them above them.

Doma wore a blood-red turtleneck sweater whose design made it appear as if the section between his neck and upper chest was covered in a black substance that appeared to drip slightly down his body. This same design was repeated on his wrists and hands, as well as the small circular "bloodstain"[14] adorning his head. Underneath, he wore straight-legged tan pinstriped hakama pants with visibly loose cuffs, which he held up with a golden belt with a pale green accent (originally black, and white in the anime), whose buckle was a shiny silver. He also wore plain black tabi socks on his feet.

Personality Doma chats with Gyokko Doma's friendly and modest facade. Doma appears friendly and cheerful, with an approachable and charismatic air. Kanae Kocho describes him as someone who speaks and acts calmly and casually. However, in reality, he has psychopathic tendencies and adopts unhealthy beliefs and habits, such as devouring his cult's followers in the belief that he is saving them from suffering and pain by allowing them to live inside his body.

Due to his carefree and joking personality, he was prone to joking and inappropriate behavior. Even among his fellow Demons, Muzan Kibutsuji and Akaza detested him for his carefree and childish behavior, and his disregard for the strict hierarchy, demonstrating total obedience to the Demon King, as demonstrated by his cheerful cadence during Muzan's rants. Even Gyokko, a Demon on friendly terms with Doma due to his morbid tendencies, was disturbed when the higher-ranking Demon attempted to escort him and Hantengu to the Blacksmith Village without Muzan's explicit permission. As for the humans he had personally harmed or traumatized, Doma continually failed to treat their feelings with respect, such as telling Shinobu Kocho that he was disappointed at being unable to eat Kanae, berating Kanao Tsuyuri for "rudely" interrupting him while he was absorbing Shinobu, and constantly mocking Kotoha's life in front of her son, Inosuke. This, in turn, caused Doma to feel an intense and vitriolic hatred towards him.

Beneath his carefree and modest exterior, which made him seem stupid and naive, Doma is a cold and calculating individual with an extremely sharp intellect. His high intelligence could be the reason why he looks down on humans, believing them to be genuinely pathetic and worthy of pity. He even cried in compassion for them.
