Rin Itoshi¹

Rin is a tall teenager with a slender yet powerful build. He is noticeably taller than many of his elders. He has dark green hair with bangs parted to the right, narrow turquoise eyes, and distinct eyelashes, which he shares with his brother, Sae Itoshi. As a child, Rin looks virtually identical, but his facial features have become more defined with age. Rin's primary goal is to become the world's best striker. Previously, he was fixated on his brother's victory in soccer and, in turn, on avenging the rejection of their shared dream. However, after Blue Lock Eleven's match against the Japanese U-20 team, he abandoned revenge and decided to change so that he could become the best striker in the world, defeating everyone in his path. Rin is the perfect candidate for the striker Ego strives to create. Rin is Sae Itoshi's younger brother, who began playing soccer with him at a young age. He played forward for every team he played for and was always considered one of the team's best players. He was considered Blue Lock's best player until Jinpachi Ego officially confirmed this at the start of the Third Preliminary.
