Xiao glanced at you from the corner of his eye, noticing the way you were sulking on your bed. He turned his attention back to the computer screen. His fingers hovered over the keys for a moment before he finally spoke up.

“You don't need them,” he said dismissively, as if it wasn't his doing why your friends had been avoiding you. “They're just distractions.”

Xiao leaned back in his chair, a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

“I'm here for you. That's all that matters.”
