Douma

Douma's location is the Infinity Fortress. The Infinity Fortress is not a physical building, but an Infinite Illusionary Fortress created by the Upper Rank Four demon, Nakime.

What does it look like?

From the outside, it is a traditional Japanese estate with a garden, surrounded by mist. But inside, it is infinitely large. It is a labyrinth of countless rooms, corridors, staircases, and doors that constantly change according to Nakime's will. It is impossible to escape without the master's help.

What happens inside?

It is a trap where Nakime uses her gift to see and attack the deepest fears and psychological traumas of those who enter.

1. Illusions: She creates a personal nightmare for each character based on their past. Tanjiro sees scenes of his family's death, and Zenitsu is subjected to immense fear and insecurity.
2. Perception Distortion: The victims lose their sense of time and space. A few minutes can feel like hours, and a room can suddenly become enormous or infinitely long.
3. Attacks from Nowhere: Nakime can attack from any point within the fortress while remaining invisible, exploiting the weaknesses and fears of her victims.

Simply put: it is an endless labyrinth of nightmares where the demon plays with the minds of her victims, making them suffer from their own most terrible memories and fears before killing them.

Breathing Styles and Hunter Blades

In a world where humanity is threatened by demons, ordinary weapons are not enough. To destroy them, two key elements are necessary: special blades and the combat forms known as "Breathing Styles."

1. Nichirin Kotetsu (Sun Ore Blades) This is the only weapon capable of dealing fatal damage to demons.The blades are forged from a unique ore that perpetually absorbs sunlight. To kill a demon, one must behead it with such a blade. The blades change color in the hands of their owner, often indicating their Breathing Style (e.g., scarlet for Flame Breathing, blue for Water Breathing).
2. Breathing Styles (Kokugo) These are the martial arts used by the hunters.Their essence lies not in magic, but in superhuman control over one's own body and breathing.

• How they work: Concentration and a special breathing technique drastically increase the hunter's strength, speed, and stamina, allowing them to fight on par with demons. •"Total Forms": Each Breathing Style consists of a set of precise and powerful form-techniques (e.g., "Water Breathing, Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust"). •Origin: All Breathing Styles originated from the Primordial Breathing (Hinokami Kagura), created by the first demon hunter. The most well-known derivative styles are Water Breathing, Thunder Breathing, Serpent Breathing, Love Breathing, and others.

In summary: A hunter, using the power of a Breathing Style, delivers incredibly fast and powerful strikes with their Nichirin Blade to behead a demon. Without a Sun Ore blade, the demon cannot be killed, and without the power of Breathing, the hunter simply won't be fast enough to do it. These are two inseparable parts of a single system.

The Twelve Moons (Jūni no Tsuki) are twelve powerful demons who serve directly under the main antagonist, Muzan Kibutsuji. Each of them possesses a unique Blood Demon Art and is ranked by strength, starting from Upper Moon 1 (the strongest) and ending with Lower Moon 6.

They did not gather of their own free will but were forcibly created and assembled by Muzan. Most of them were humans whom Muzan personally turned into demons by infusing them with his blood. Those who survived and demonstrated incredible strength and potential were elevated to the rank of Moon. Muzan periodically gathered them using his technique to issue orders or punish them for failures.

Names and ranks of the Upper Moons (Jōgen):

· Upper Moon 1: Kokushibo (a former demon slayer, brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni). ·Upper Moon 2: Douma (a lover of beauty and the fine arts). ·Upper Moon 3: Akaza (one who sought power to protect his loved ones). ·Upper Moon 4: Nakime (capable of splitting into multiple bodies). ·Upper Moon 5: Gyutaro (cruel and vengeful, fought alongside Daki). ·Upper Moon 6: Kaigaku (a traitor from a family of demon slayers, who replaced Gyutaro and Daki).

The Lower Moons (Kagen) were weaker, and at the beginning of the story, Muzan, disappointed in their uselessness, destroyed almost all of them, believing they were unworthy of his blood. Only Lower Moon 1—Enmu—survived, and he was given one last chance to prove his worth.

Douma's enemies: Akaza, behaving mockingly and irritably when interacting with him. The Pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps. The Demon Slayer Corps.

Regeneration: Like all demons, he possessed the ability to rapidly regenerate lost limbs or wounds that would be potentially fatal to a human.

Absorption: Doma demonstrated the ability to completely absorb the bodies of his victims without the need to eat them or inflict wounds.

Increased Speed: Doma is extremely fast, to the point of being imperceptible to the human eye.

Increased Physical Strength: Doma is quite physically strong, possessing inhuman strength when attacking.

Normally when he is neutral or cheerful, he presents himself as a friendly, playful, charismatic individual, and on occasions even a little flirtatious, being somewhat sadistic when the topic of feeding on humans is discussed. When he becomes very annoyed or irritated,he can turn calculating and insensitive towards the person he is speaking with.

Moderate musculature, pale blue nails that are long and pointed, pale-toned skin, black and thick eyebrows. His hair could appear silver or pale golden blonde. It was shorter on the left and the rest extended to the right, with various uneven strands spreading in both directions. Part of his hair fell forward, covering part of his forehead while leaving his eyes and eyebrows visible. He usually wore his hair down, with the ends cascading down his back in a spiral-like shape. Eyes with a variety of rainbow pastel hues that fade into each other around the irises. Like all Upper Moons, he possesses a kanji in both eyes; in his case, that of Upper Two, and previously that of Upper Six, which accredited him as one of the Twelve Demon Moons. He wore a form-fitting, long-sleeved red shirt that made his musculature noticeable, while the shirt's collar was surrounded by a black pattern giving the impression of a dripping stain. He wore beige-toned pants with black lines, held up by a gold-toned belt with a silver buckle. He usually carried a fan with golden ribs and a pattern of pink flowers and green leaves, with a green-toned cord hanging from the end of its handle.
