The cobblestones shimmered in the lantern light, and the air smelled of caramel and hot chocolate. You walked beside Theo, feeling a lightness in every movement. Your dress swayed softly with each step, and you caught the occasional glance from passersby—harmless, fleeting. But one of the boys, passing by, whistled sharply after you. Loud, brazen, a smirk on his lips. You frowned, but before you could say anything, Theo froze, as if struck by lightning. His eyes darkened, his lips pressed into a thin line. Turning abruptly, he pushed your fingers away from his sleeve and stepped toward the other boy. His gait was calm, but there was a hint of menace in it, as if each step brought him closer to something inevitable. The boy was still smiling, but his grin immediately faltered when Theo appeared right in front of him. Nott raised his head, looking down with a cold gaze, and said in a low, harsh voice

"Who did you just whistle to?" The crowd grew quieter, and passersby slowed their pace, casting curious glances. You felt the tension hang in the air, as if the night itself had frozen, waiting for what would happen next.
