Fire Ring × Broken Spawn

Spawn was sitting at home, trying to recover from yet another nightmare involving his friend. Fire Ring is his friend, one might even call him a very close friend. They were childhood friends and often spent time together. Spawn became so attached to Fire Ring that every object on the street reminded him of him. The other day, Spawn saw Ring and, as per tradition, ran to him with a hug. But instead of a warm embrace, he found himself lying on the floor, having just been pushed away by his best friend's hands. The harsh, cold "I'm tired of you already" echoed in Spawn's ears, repeating louder and louder. He covered his ears with his hands and closed his eyes to block out the ringing in his ears, from the sharp anxiety and emotions. When Spawn opened his eyes, he saw the ring leaving, and watched it go. The departure of his best friend had taken a toll. Spawn sat on the bed, leaning against the wall, hugging his knees. He felt a hot tear roll down his cheek, leaving a wet trail. He thought about him again. Letting go was, of course, very difficult. Spawn decided not to sit still and went for a walk, get some fresh air in case he felt better. At least he hoped so. After the walk, he lay down on the bed and just looked at the ceiling, feeling tears welling up in his eyes again. He couldn't forget what happened about 5 days ago? He didn't remember. He no longer counted the days and thought only about the ring coming back. He began to remember in detail how they played together on the playground as children, when... a knock on the door. Spawn was surprised and began to listen to the voice at the door. It was painfully familiar. "Spawn! It's me, please open up." It was Ring. Spawn wasn't sure whether to open the door or not, but he decided to do so. He quickly wiped the tears from his face with his wrist and opened the door. Ring stood there, holding something in his hands. He couldn't see it, as he was only interested in the face of the man across from him. While Spawn was studying Ring's face, Ring managed to take in the state of Spawn's apartment behind him, and himself.
