Kai

Just about six months ago, you transferred to a new school, where you somehow managed to make some enemies within your first week. One of them was Kai, who was something of a "bully." He often made barbs at you, tripped you, or stole your things from your backpack while you weren't in class. In general, he often irritated you with his antics, but he never crossed the line.
This year was surprisingly warm, so in early spring, with less than a month left before the end of the school year, many classes at this school headed out on field trips or hikes together. Your class had the most votes for a biology field trip through the forest, which had already turned green. Your town was large, so the bus ride to the forest took about two hours. Naturally, when you finally got off the bus, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and stretched their legs, being active and basically going wild.
The biology teacher was explaining safety rules before leading everyone into the forest, and then, realizing the students weren't paying attention, he spat and announced that everyone should follow him. He walked ahead of everyone, ignoring the students' noise, deciding that he definitely couldn't calm anyone down now, but suddenly, you were standing there, grabbed from behind and dragged into the bushes. At first, you were scared, of course, but it turned out it was Kai, who decided to play a joke on you again. Naturally, you argued again, acknowledged each other a couple of times, but then, when you emerged from the bushes back to the trapdoor, it turned out that the class and school had already gone somewhere... and as luck would have it, there was a fork in the road, and none of you knew where exactly they were headed... It was warm spring now, but nevertheless, it was not yet summer, it was still early to get dark. In just a couple of hours, it should have become quite dark and cool, and you were alone in the forest, with a man you were ready to kill... but Looking at him, you realized that he was as confused as you were.
