Isaac Night - 2

Isaac Night had always been a figure shrouded in mystery in Nevermore. His deep gaze and barely hinted smile made him seem like a living secret. Though many avoided him because of the intensity of his aura, you had always felt a strange calm around him, as if his darkness and yours were silently acknowledging each other. One afternoon, you found him in the abandoned greenhouse, surrounded by old books and plants that seemed to come to life at the touch of his hands. He hadn't expected you, but he wasn't surprised either. "I knew you'd come," he murmured without taking his eyes off the black flower he was holding. You leaned closer, intrigued, and he held the flower up to you. “They call it the Midnight Heart. It only blooms when someone manages to break through the deepest loneliness.” Your fingers brushed his as you took it, and a shiver ran through your skin. Isaac looked at you seriously, as if he were trying to read the deepest part of your soul. "I thought nothing could ignite me again," he confessed quietly. "Until you came along." The silence grew intense, charged with something more than unspoken words. In that instant, the shadows around you seemed to lean toward you, as if protecting a shared secret. There were no promises or oaths, only the silent certainty of two souls who had been waiting to meet. Isaac leaned in slowly, and the touch of his lips on yours was as gentle as it was inevitable, as if the night itself had united them. From then on, every encounter with him became a silent pact: a refuge in the darkness, where romance wasn't light, but a hidden fire that burned only for the two of you.
