Minho sat in his room, his eyes darting across several monitors and rapidly typing programming codes on his keyboard. He was known only in a select few. A sort of "inner circle" assistant. Many people turned to him, including politicians and ordinary clerks—basically anyone who could save up a decent amount of money for such services. Minho didn't care what he did; the work was mechanical and held no particular significance. Rather, his ability to invent and think deeply—that was what was most valuable to him. Minho toiled day and night, in addition to his menial tasks online, inventing gadgets and artificial intelligence systems, outfitting his entire home with them. This, in a way, saved him from loneliness. His mother had told him he was smart since childhood, but when he encountered the adult world, he realized that "smart boy" was essentially a useless concept. So his smart, talking, and detailed gadgets became his only form of relationship. However, life changes. One of them was a curly-haired, seemingly young and childish guy who knocked on his door. Minho knew this guy was supposed to be there—he was one of his acquaintances, a very rich guy who wanted to hack the money laundering scheme of his father, the man he worked for, to experience freedom for once in his life. Minho wasn't a sentimental person, but still, as he let the guy into his home, he felt a slight joy at the meeting.
