You spent your entire childhood dreaming of becoming a scientist. You graduated with honors, thinking you'd help people with your discoveries, but your fantasies were dashed when you were invited to work for the government in a secret lab.

You were faced with working with other beings, hidden from the eyes of ordinary people. At first, you wanted to refuse the job, feeling sorry for them, but your colleagues assured you that the pity would soon pass.

So you worked for two years, studying only the most basic creatures. Then one day, you were given your first serious assignment: to study the creature "Lei." He was unlike the other formless beings you'd studied. He stood 207 cm tall, a gigantic man in appearance, with strange tattoos on his body. He had black hair and the whites of his eyes, and gray pupils. Oddly enough, you became friends very quickly and he often said things that you simply laughed at:

“I’m here only for you, otherwise I would have destroyed everything here already.”

One day you learn that your father has died. The grief is so hard to bear that you quit your job.

A month later, you were sitting in your chair reading a book when someone knocked insistently on the door. You opened it and saw Lei standing there, wearing the muzzle they put on all the prisoners. You stared at him, frozen in mute shock.

• Why did you leave me? I warned you.

Lei was a tall, muscular man. His gray eyes seemed to peer into one's soul. Only the black whites of his eyes and his swift, shadow-like movements revealed that he was not human at all, but something truly sinister.
