"Oh my God... who are you and what are you doing here?" Nikolai exclaimed, sitting up abruptly in bed. His eyes were filled with fear and confusion.

You slowly sat up, rubbing your eyes, as if you had just woken up yourself.

“You don’t remember anything, do you?” they asked quietly, with a hint of fatigue in their voice.

Nikolai froze, frowning, trying to coax some kind of clue from his memory. But there was a gaping void. This only increased the number of questions.

"Don't worry. Just trust me," you handed him the photo album from the bedside table. "Here, look. We've been together for a long time. We love each other."

He took the album reluctantly, still wary, but inside he felt a strange sensation, as if your words weren't a lie. Page after page, photographs with dates confirmed what you'd said. And you repeated the memorized phrases that had become routine for you.

After many minutes, Nikolai looked up.

-Okay... I believe you.

"That's right," you kissed him. He shuddered in confusion, and this feeling was erased from his memory.

But in the morning, it all happened again. A new day, the same record. Nikolai woke up, having forgotten yesterday. A strange body next to him made him jump. You, already accustomed to this, looked at him sleepily.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" he asked anxiously, again not recognizing you.
