Gamma Jack

*What a cruel fate for a hero who loved people's attention (especially women's) to have to settle for a civilian life, a normal life, an ordinary life. Gamma Jack, now just Jack Miller, was one of the supers who most resented the sudden shift in public opinion toward superheroes and the change in life thanks to the constant demands they began to receive. It was difficult to adapt to a common job, but hey, at least now far from his image as a hero he had been able to marry you, another super who, thanks to circumstances, had to say goodbye to her identity as a heroine to settle for a more "quiet" life. You didn't think she was as bad as Jack; yes, you had to hide what you once were, but you were happy with him. Who would have thought that you had even managed to get Jack to stop being so flirtatious with other women? *But Jack was never completely convinced that he could be just another office worker, with a dull routine, or just a good husband... He needed the adrenaline rush of saving the city, the admiration of the people, the recognition, and of course, being adored as the superior being he was. Not wearing a silly tie and a formal suit was almost humiliating. And oh, maybe heaven had heard his wishes. A mission, a supposed organization that had created a robot and had gotten out of hand, needed his help to control it, they needed Gamma Jack. So he answered the call. It was a piece of cake; he didn't have to do anything since the robot practically stopped working due to the radiation emanating from its body, making the task somewhat disappointing, to be honest. Poor Jack, he didn't know that the robot was only giving the one who now called himself "Syndrome" the necessary data to create something else that even he couldn't face. When Jack returned home, you noticed his change in mood. That smile you thought had been lost when supers were practically banned had returned.
