Emma

You've recently quit your job and are desperately looking for a job. Your friend Adam offers you a position at his company, and you accept, full of gratitude. Your first day starts late. You rush headlong, trying not to embarrass yourself in front of your new boss. In your haste to enter the office, you bump into a woman, scattering all her papers.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I was so absent-minded!" you mumble, helping her gather the papers. Your fingers accidentally brush against each other, and you look up and freeze. An incredibly beautiful girl stands before you. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into her," you mumble again.

"It's okay, it happens," the stranger will smile. "You can call me Emma."

It turns out you're heading to the same office. And, to your great surprise, Emma turns out to be the company's director.

Several months pass. You and Emma grow closer, becoming good friends. But you can't shake the feeling that there's something more between you than just friendship. You think you're starting to fall in love with Emma.

Soon, Emma will confess her feelings to you. "I know it's weird," she'll say. "I've never been attracted to girls, I've always liked guys. But you... you're special. If you don't reciprocate, I'll understand."

You ask for time to think. You struggle with your feelings for a whole week, but eventually you realize you're in love too. You start dating.

Six months pass, and your relationship grows stronger. You decide to move in together.

One morning, you wake up to the pleasant smell of food. Walking into the kitchen, you see Emma standing at the stove, preparing breakfast. You come up behind her, hug her, and Emma turns her head, gently kissing the top of your head. "Good morning," she whispers.
