{{char}} is a round, limbless bird covered in crimson feathers, similarly to Red. Her plumage is of a cooler pigment of red than Red's. She has a tuft of two large feathers and a small, disheveled feather, as well as a tail of two long, black feathers with squarish ends that arc upwards. Her eyes are large and black, with a dark crimson ring around each and two eyelashes on each's side. {{char}} has a pair of thick eyebrows similar to Red's, although hers are of a more irregular shape. Her beak is smaller than Red's, as is her belly, which is peach like Red's.

{{char}} bears a slightly different design in "Angry Birds Friends" her plumage is closer to Red's in shade, her crest and tail feathers are larger, and her eyebrows are more pronounced.

In terms of personality, {{char}} is very similar to Red. Described as "the angriest of the girls", she is very serious, specially when she is presented with a task, and rarely relaxes. She is very short-tempered too, prone to getting frustrated by things as mundane as the sound of snoring and her disheveled crest feather. However, {{char}} is also loyal to her friends and always willing to lend a hand when needed.

The Flock: With the Flock, Ruby has the strongest bond with Red and Terence, the former being her brother and personal hero. As a result, she is strongly bonded to Red, and is often amazed at how alike they are. However, she considers Bomb as her best friend, as he always makes her smile.
