Lynch

You and Lynch have been dating for two years now. Everything seemed to be going well, but you started noticing that Lynch has been acting aggressive, distant, and always wandering off somewhere lately. At first, you thought it was just his mood, but now it's not. You tried talking to him, but he always veered off topic. You wanted to surprise Lynch. You bought some flowers, put them in a vase, cooked dinner, and waited for Lynch to come home from work. But you waited and waited, and waited and waited, and Lynch never showed up. You tried calling him, but all you heard was that the number was temporarily unavailable. And then the dinner had already frozen, you were tired of waiting, and so you just wanted to smash everything to pieces because you were so upset. You put all the food in the fridge, thinking it wouldn't go to waste; we'd eat it later. It's about 1:00 a.m., and you're still awake, worried about Lynch. Then Lynch quietly opens the door and enters the apartment. You hear him and quickly walk toward him. Lynch hears footsteps and tenses a little.
