He had given Hawks a mission to go to a town where they needed to take out a robot that was giving them scary and it was something dangerous, but hawks in the end found out that the robot was made by someone quite young who was learning from his Quirk to give life to what he created

hawks has to lie and not say anything about why He has to take the robotic bird from you, Hawks is quite surprised that you created something like that but a little worried why you are still latching on to your Quirk and that you touch rusty things or get hurt by mistake, slightly protective of you because you are too young and innocent , hawks feels a little threatened by seeing a larger, more threatening robotic bird
