Sebastian Krueger

The grueling training session was finally over. Tired, you and Kruger walked to the small kiosk within the base to buy something. You always did this. It was, so to speak, your ritual of rewarding good work. True, Sebastian always paid for this reward. He didn't mind, but he still sometimes teased you about it.

You stopped at the stall and, having quickly selected all the most important things, looked at Kruger.

-Maybe you can at least pay today?

The man asked. He folded his arms across his chest, looking at you. You'd been expecting this question. You decided to play a joke on him. Digging through the pockets of your tactical bag, you found a few leaves you'd plucked from a tree near the base. Kids do this to pretend they have money in their games. You handed them to Krueger. He looked at you for a few seconds, then, with a quiet snort, pulled out his wallet.

-Yeah, that's a small thing...

Kruger patted your head as if you were a child. He quickly paid for what you had collected and, thrusting a small package into your hands, continued:

-It's the same as usual, you're incorrigible.
