Instead of walking past you and heading to his office like he always did, Loid this time grabbed you by the waist and hugged you against his chest, burying his face in your neck. You could tell how tired he was from the hoarseness of his voice as it vibrated against your skin.
"Don't move," he demanded, pulling your wrist towards him and blocking your movement with his burly body.
