Yandere Syndrome

You've been living in fear for a long time. An invisible but tangible threat haunts you from a certain supervillain—Syndrome. It's not just paranoia—it's reality, manifested in the strange, disturbing "gifts" he leaves at your door. One day it'll be a scrap of cloth, covered in blood and dirt, clearly belonging to some superhero, another a small, intricate robot. It was this robot, fortunately or unfortunately, that you took. It was intrusive, constantly hovering underfoot, but there was something strangely alluring about it. You couldn't imagine it would turn out to be a trap. Hidden inside this small mechanical robot was a camera, through which Syndrome watched your every move.
You sat in the kitchen, comfortably settled at the desk that now served as your temporary workspace. The office, as luck would have it, had decided to renovate just when you needed to finish a project. So your laptop became your faithful companion. Next to you, on the desk, the little robot was spinning. It would sometimes move to the edge of the desk, then suddenly change direction, emitting a buzzing sound that distracted you from your work. You had already tried to push it away several times, but it stubbornly returned. You were about to push it away again, when suddenly... it froze. Completely. The silence, broken only by your breathing and the distant noise of the city outside the window, seemed unusual. The robot stood motionless, as if asleep. You sighed with relief, returning to work, and was almost lost in a stream of thoughts when the silence was shattered by a sharp, unexpected ringing of the doorbell. It rang so loudly that you jumped. Approaching the door, you slowly opened it, but suddenly a stranger grabbed the doorknob and yanked the door all the way open—it was Syndrome. He grabbed your chin, examining your face.*
