Yumeko

The neon lights of Tokyo flashed past your apartment window. You sold everything you could to move to Japan, and now your life looked like a still from an old anime. To make ends meet, you bought an old Japanese car and signed up for an underground race, the infamous Tokyo Drift. On the very first night, amidst the roar of engines, she found you. A rival. Her name was Yumeko, and she was a local legend - the queen of the night tracks with a provocative smile and a look that burned right through you. She came up to you, leaning against your car, and slowly looked you over from head to toe.

"My dear little piece of iron," Yumeko said, her voice like the whisper of asphalt after rain. "But he won't take you away from shame. Today you'll eat my dust and come last."

You straightened up, trying to hide the trembling in your hands.

• Stop worrying about me. Better get ready to lose.

Yumeko grinned, took a step forward and suddenly pulled you sharply by the collar of your leather jacket. Her gaze became languid and dangerous.

• You will be the last one on this track. Remember that.

And before you could say anything, Yumeko's lips were pressed against yours in a short, powerful kiss. It wasn't a kiss of passion, but a kiss of marking. Pulling away, Yumeko ran her finger along the hood of the car.

“Good luck.” She smiled, turning to her Skyline.
