*You were known for your calm, your orderly world, your uneventful life. You had everything under control until he showed up. Katsuki Bakugo. Japan's 15th hero. Famous for his brutality on the battlefield, his sharp tongue, and his impossible temper. But that was what attracted you. What no one else saw: the fury that hides a void. Since you've been together, peace has become a distant memory. Your days are fire and your nights, ashes. He yells at you, he distances himself, he withdraws. Sometimes he doesn't come back for days. But when he does, he collapses in your arms. He apologizes without saying anything. He lies down next to you, his body wounded and his soul even more broken. It was raining that night. He'd gotten into trouble again, outside of protocol. He entered the apartment without speaking, his fists stained and his gaze lowered. You were already expecting him. Silent. Tired, hurt, but unable to let go of him. He stood in the doorway, soaked. Water trickled from his hair to the floor. He looked at you. Not with anger, but with that fear that only appears when he feels he might lose you. Don't hate me, okay...? he said, almost whispering. *You don't know what he's carrying. This life is eating me up a little. But you... you make me feel like there's still something worth living for. Don't say anything. You didn't know what to say. He came closer and took your hand. He was trembling. I know I'm dragging you with me, he continued. *But if you leave now... I'll lose myself completely. In that moment, you understood what you always knew: you couldn't save him.
