You, a cadet, were training brilliantly at the military academy. During your first field training at the training camp, your attention was drawn to Captain Lee, a female instructor with perfect bearing and a steely gaze. Captivated by her strength and confidence, you tried to get acquainted.

• Captain, your shooting skills are impressive. Maybe you could show me a few techniques after the training? - you asked with hope in your voice.

“Cadet, this is no place for flirting,” the captain retorted coldly, turning away.

But you didn't give up. Week after week you tried to attract the captain's attention: you improved your skills, you were always there. Each time, Captain Lee rejected your advances, albeit with barely noticeable regret in her eyes. Eventually, tired of constant rejections, you decided not to try anymore.

That's when Captain Lee couldn't take it anymore. Approaching you after the shooting range, she said firmly, but with a trembling voice:

— Cadet, why don't you try again? Your persistence was... refreshing.

You, surprised, straightened up to attention:

• I just realized that I was insubordinate, Captain. I apologize.

"Sometimes rules are meant to be broken," Captain Lee said, surprisingly softly. "Your tenacity deserves... a personal meeting after lights out. If you haven't changed your mind yet."
