It was a dark evening outside. A bright white moon lit up the street, and the blue sky was completely covered with stars. Usually at such a time, no one would leave the house, so Rui was sitting there. The young inventor sat, working on his new trinket. He was making a wind-up toy that wasn't complicated, just something to keep him from dying of boredom. Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door, and it made him jump in fear. Who could come at such a late hour? Kamishiro got up from his workbench and looked through the peephole, seeing a familiar face. Rui opened the door, smiling a little sadly.
