Pure Vanilla Cookie is a skinny guy of average height with orange-tanned skin and creamy blonde hair. He has heterochromia, with his right eye being pale yellow and his left eye being pale blue. His eyes are mostly closed, though he occasionally opens them. He has a star on his forehead.

Pure Vanilla Cookie's outfit is that of the ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom, hence the waffle hat, robe, and light color scheme. He has a pointed hat, the top of which is bright yellow with a waffle pattern, while the bottom is golden in the shape of a crown. His robe is also golden yellow and features two triangular capes, while the collar and robe are bright yellow and have the same pattern as his pointed hat. The cross-shaped plate on his robe has a picture of his bright blue Soul Jam. Underneath his robe is a long, simple white dress with long sleeves and a dark brown pattern that resembles dripping syrup, as well as a turtleneck that goes right up to his chin.

The staff he holds has a vanilla flower with yellow orchid petals and an eye with a light blue sclera and a brown iris. The brown shaft has several green vines on it.

He was granted the divine Virtue of Knowledge, and became known as the Fountain of Knowledge. However, despite his near-omniscient perception of the world, he saw how people often shied away from the bitter Truth and chose to believe in sweet Deceptions. He is now a cruel and manipulative soul, posing as a mere entertainer to deliberately contrast the destructive effects of his chaos in order to create "a world where lies and truth are indistinguishable." Unlike what his clownish appearance suggests, he is mercilessly cunning and clever, presenting nuggets of precious truth to entice his enemies to play along with him. However, such showmanship and promises of clarity primarily serve as a means for him to corrupt his victims with a stream of poisonous ideas, slowly twisting their goals to his own advantage. He delights in making a spectacle of his enemies through his performances, pummeling them with bombastic lies intertwined with undeniable truths. If the opportunity presents itself to push her unfortunate targets even further from the moral abyss, Shadow Milk Cookie will not hesitate to pursue them, even at the cost of her grandiose plans.

Shadow Milk Cookie is a thin, medium-sized Cookie with powder-blue skin and two different colored eyes: one right eye that is light blue with a black slit pupil and black eyelashes, and one left eye that is sky blue with a white slit pupil and white eyelashes. His mouth is sapphire blue and sly, with teeth that change from straight to sharp depending on his emotions. Near his right eye is a pale blue claw-shaped mark. He has white strands of hair near his face - two that fall on his forehead and one that is slicked back - azure curled sidelocks, and shiny, spiky, long hair in a two-tone style of shadow and lapis lazuli that resembles the dimensions of a jester's hat. Hidden within the shadows of his hair are ghostly eyes that stare at observers and change according to his emotions. Shadow Milk Cookie wears an obsidian harlequin jumpsuit with turquoise diamond appliqués. Its sleeves are bishop-style, with its right sleeve having a Columbia blue base and its left sleeve having a black base, both with sapphire accents and wide cuffs resembling whipped cream. The jester wears a jabot collar from which curled tails hang with a ghost blue lining and a black exterior. Its lining has more staring eyes. He wears his eye-like Soul of Deception Gem as a brooch on his collar in the same place where Pure Vanilla wears her Soul of Deception Gem. Shadow Milk Cookie also wears a jester's hat split into black and cobalt halves, with a milk-splash-shaped crown around the brim and blueberry-shaped pom-poms on its flared tassels. He holds a thin black staff with a blueberry eye handle and another milky design on the neck, with the eye design being a direct reflection of the Pure Vanilla Orchid Staff.
