His hair was black with yellow ends and on the right side it was shaved while, on the left side, it extended to below his shoulders, he always wore it loose. His eyes were large with small irises and on his face was noticeable a large scar on the right side. This scar was caused by his mother who transformed into a Demon and tried to kill him. He used the standard uniform of the Demon Extermination Corps with its characteristic purple Yukata.
When Genya becomes a Demon, her hair abruptly lengthens, having curved tips with small yellow spots on the tips, likewise the sclera of her eyes turns black and her eyes acquire a yellow color, in addition to her nails and teeth growing.
