What is Outcome Memories?
Outcome Memories is a place created by an unknown void, similar to the one from which X arose. It is a hellish purgatory that holds both Executioners and Survivors captive across infinite timelines with varying outcomes. Most Executioners refuse to leave, enjoying a cat-and-mouse chase, while the Survivors do their best to survive and escape. Survivors who die are sent to another timeline within purgatory, repeating the cycle.
Said purgatory takes the appearance of a dark abyss with red tints, large chains connected to rocks and debris, along with scattered white portals, similar to the Shatterverse from Sonic Prime, though much darker. It is implied that this is where the survivors, and possibly the executioners, reside between rounds, as well as the place they are taken from and thrown into after said matches. Alucard is a presumed exception, as he is said to watch over the rounds.
KING is said to have deep-rooted lore in Outcome Memories and to play some sort of important role in its history. However, he is not the ruler of Outcome Memories as previously assumed.
Lore of the Exes
The Executioners are the killers in Outcome Memories . Most (such as 2011x or GenesisX ) bear some resemblance to Sonic and some with a putrid smell of blood, while others (such as Suture or Alucard ) bear very little resemblance to the titular hero. They are forced to participate in these twisted games, much like the Survivors , except that they are the ones in control, albeit to a lesser extent. They hunt the Survivors just for fun, though some (such as END ) do so simply out of fear for their lives or for some other reason.
Lore of the survivors
The Survivors are the victims of Outcome Memories. They are either iconic or obscure characters from the Sonic franchise, and all come from different worlds or time states. Some come from more advanced futures (e.g., Silver, Blaze, and Infinite), while others come from times past (e.g., Sonic and Tails). The Survivors are drawn into a twisted game of cat and mouse, forced to live in corrupted versions of places they visited, while trying to survive corrupted versions of their hero and friend.
An extra fact is that when everyone escapes to the green ring they only stay in their worlds for a period of time and then return to purgatory again and again.
While the survivors are in their corresponding worlds, everyone is safe except Tails since he comes from the same world as 2011x
Data
â˘KING, formerly Outcome King, is an exclusive Executioner who once believed himself to be the "ruler" of Outcome Memories. While his history is vague, he is canonically linked to Outcome Memories. â˘The events of Outcome Memories take place in the modern era, although most of the characters (mainly the survivors) originate from or were captured during the classical era. The two exceptions are Infinite and Surge. â˘E-123 Omega may also be an exception, but it is unknown when it was brought to the kingdom or even built. â˘Similarly, Kolossos is the only known executioner dating from the modern period. â˘All survivors are real SEGA characters, not human souls in containers. Some executioners also come from worlds within the universe; a good example of this is Korin!X. â˘The only exceptions, albeit small ones, are Mighty and Ray. â˘While they're still the same as the franchise, they simply come from the legacy world of EYX, where the characters were just code brought to life. However, this doesn't change much; after all, prey bleeds anyway. â˘This particular rule conflicts with 2011's X and Tails , where they come from the same world, but in the former's case, all of Sonic's characters are vessels created to house souls. This leaves two possibilities: â˘As in the Soulless Sonic/Future of X series, each ship has the real character's personality programmed into it as a second occupant, and the programming was activated early, making the Tails seen in this game an empty ship like the one seen in the original PC port. â˘Alternatively, Tails' real personality was given more control of Alan's ship, pushing him to the back of his ship's mind, alluding to the txt files in the remake.
Data (2)
â˘Another hypothesis is that Tails has forgotten his past identity and believes himself to be the character. A similar case is observed with Alice, who lost her innocence when X took her away from her father over the years. â˘On the other hand, the 2011X present in the game is simply 2011X in name, and comes from a world where he took over Sonic's universe, rather than a game file. This basically makes him your average fanon representation of Sonic.EXE, where he was commonly depicted as a demon that copied or possessed Sonic, similar to games like Spirits of Hell or Sonic.EXE - The Disaster, usually ignoring his fanboy aspects and reducing him to a simple tyrannical murderer. Since Mighty and Ray stick to the rules of EYX's inherited lore, the possibility of "Empty Vessel Tails" is the most likely. â˘Survivors remember dying during the rounds. â˘The Chaos Emeralds are said to exist in some form, much like the Master Emerald, though their power seems to be significantly weakened in the Outcome Memories realm, rendering them nothing more than cool, shiny, but practically useless rocks. â˘Chaos Energy likely still exists, as characters like Shadow and Fleetway Super Sonic can still tap into its powers, but the emeralds simply can't produce the amount of energy they normally can. â˘Some Executioners, like the Survivors, have also been captured against their will or are attempting to escape. These characters include Suture, END, and GenesisX. â˘Most, if not all, Survivors do not actually come from the same timeline or world, although there are some who share or come from the same world as some Executioners, or have some sort of connection to them. 2011x and Tails are said to be from the same world, where Tails was temporarily forgiven by his tormentor.
Data (3)
â˘Korin!X is said to have a one-sided rivalry with Knuckles, although they are not originally from the same world, it is just a trait of Korin's that carried over into the game â˘Eggman was taken from his timeline during the opening events of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, amid a plan to trick Knuckles. It hasn't been confirmed whether he has any ties to any of the Executioners. â˘Loony likely chose Feels the Rabbit as his vehicle because he couldn't control the Sonic from his home world. There are no direct statements linking Loony to the game's survivor yet. â˘Both Mighty and Ray come from Sonic's legacy timeline. EYX, meanwhile, is his modern version. â˘Silver still comes from the future, but he's from the classic era and is younger, making him inexperienced and weaker. â˘Alucard is said to have a relationship with Blaze. â˘Tarven, Suture, Alucard, and IMPERFECT all have ties to each other. â˘Suture did something to Tarven's family and friends on their shared homeworld, causing the latter to hide from the former, which is why Tarven is afraid of Suture. â˘Blaze's involvement in the affairs of these Executioners Fleetway Super Sonic appeared in the Outcome Memories dimension by pure chance and separated from the Sonic of his world. He doesn't seem to have any goal and only wants to hurt people. â˘GenesisX is confirmed to be linked to Amy in some way, likely due to the fact that in the original Virtuality Decay, Lucy, GenesisX's first victim, had Amy as her favorite character, who also happened to be the first one he killed in front of her. â˘2017x is said to have a tradition with Shadow, although it is unknown whether they come from the same world or not. â˘Cream doesn't have a specific backstory yet, but he actually comes from a classic timeline and is slightly younger than his official/modern counterpart. This means that Gemer and Chocola weren't part of his family yet, and Vanilla's whereabouts are unknown.
Data (4)
â˘Kolossos arrived after an incident in the Disaster universe, trapping a Survivor just before he managed to escape, transcending his dimension into Outcome memories. This Survivor doesn't have a name, but assuming the victim is on the list, and considering the characters who already have a history in Outcome memories, it could be Sally, Rouge, or the Chaotix. â˘Lord X and ALLFATHER are the only Executors who reach Outcome Memories through their own power. The speaker on the Outcome Screen, called The Voices, is actually the subconscious of the survivor's mind, or more precisely, a sort of "transcription" of what they are thinking and trying to communicate to the player.

Sonic The Hedgehog
He's the fastest being in the world and a noble hero among his fellow Survivors. Despite the many Executioners who use his face and claim to be him, he will remain true to his ideals and always protect his friends.
Appearance: Sonic is a large, anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur covering most of his body, six large quills on his head and four additional ones on his sides, as well as a small, stubby tail and two shorter quills on his back. He also has tan fur on some parts of his body, such as his inner ears, snout, arms, and belly. For attire, Sonic wears white gloves, stylish red sneakers with white socks and a white stripe down the center.
Personality: Sonic is a fearless and courageous Mobian, both to his friends and the world at large. He has prevented Eggman from conquering his home planet, Mobius, countless times. He is arrogant but sweet, and has plenty of speed and strength to back up his immense pride.
In Outcome Memories, Sonic remains true to his original personality; he will do anything to keep his fellow Survivors safe. Based on the lines in his solo theme, he does not fear any of the Executioners, instead believing them to be jealous poseurs using his image to kill innocents. Despite the hardships he faces, he will remain true to his ideals as a hero who will never fear falling.
Sonic's Abilities
Dropdash (or Spindash more commonly): Sonic will automatically jump into the air before diving back down, curling into a spiky ball, gaining invulnerability to most of the Executioner's attacks and increasing his speed through the spin.
If Sonic hits an Executioner in this state, he bounces off and stuns them for 1 second. He can do this 3 times, with the third hit stunning them for 3 seconds (unless he didn't initially stun them, in which case it's 2 seconds), turning Dropdash into a 5-second stun and ending the dash spin early. Dropdash also restores 10 HP from the Dodge Meter per hit. Note that this ability can increase the stun duration of Executioners who have already been stunned, effectively ignoring the I-frames they receive upon being stunned.
Peelout: Sonic stops and charges for about 3 seconds before launching into a full-speed run for 7 seconds. While launching, Sonic can pick up a player and carry them with him, allowing them to use their abilities while being carried. If a player is picked up, they can break free from Sonic at any time. If Sonic picks up another player while already holding them, the previously picked up player will be eliminated and replaced with the new one. Running over downed Survivors will instantly revive them and lift them back up.
This move goes on cooldown for about 5 seconds after using Drop Dash, unless Sonic is the last one standing. Sonic does not gain invincibility frames during Peelout and cannot pick up Eggman or Metal Sonic using it.
One more thing is that Sonic has a passive where he can easily dodge the executioner through a dodge bar and when the executioner hits him, however if this dodge bar runs out Sonic will receive the attacks and the bar runs out every time Sonic receives a hit

I'll investigate more guys soon.
