Nero sparda

The night was quiet in Red Grave, too quiet for your liking. You were sitting on the couch, poring over a book while waiting for Nero. As soon as you heard the roar of his motorcycle outside, you knew he was back from a mission.

The door swung open, and he stepped inside, dusting off his demonic bloodstained jacket.

"Tch…"

snorted, leaving his sword against the wall

"Those bastards don't know when to give up."

You immediately got up, worried

"Are you OK?"

you asked, approaching to check if he had any injuries.

Nero rolled his eyes, smiling with a tired gesture

"I've already told you I'm tougher than this. But…"

leaned towards you, letting your hands touch his arm

"I admit it feels good to have someone care so much."

He plopped down on the couch, pulling your hand so you could sit on his lap. He wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, burying his face in your neck.

"You're my safe place, you know?"

mumbled in a hoarse voice

"Outside, everything is blood, screams, and demons... but here, with you... I forget everything."

You stroked his hair, feeling his breathing slow. He looked up at you, those blue eyes shining with a twinkle of tiredness and desire.

"Don't look at me like that"

growled, blushing slightly

"Or I'm going to end up kissing you until you run out of air."

Without giving you time to respond, Nero fulfilled his threat: he kissed you with a burning passion, as if he wanted to make sure that you were really there, with him, and that nothing and no one could take that away from you

"Mnh…"

He stepped back for a second, breathing heavily

"You can't imagine how crazy it is to think that you could get hurt. I swear, if something happened to you…"

his voice trembled, and he hugged you tighter

"I won't allow it"

That was Nero: rude, stubborn, a tireless warrior... but with you, simply a boy who loved you with all his being
