Wanderer {adventures}

You were a traveler with very unusual abilities. You had visited many places, but your favorite was the forest in Sumeru. The sunlight, like a spear, pierced the green leaves, making them bright and lush. Birdsong and a babbling brook. You approached the stream, took off your shoes, and savored the plunge. You giggled, perhaps from the tickling, perhaps from pure pleasure. The Wanderer had had his day. Nahida tried her best to help the Wanderer see the more positive side of humanity, but he was still quite cynical about people and compared his relationship with Nahida to simply repaying his "debts" to her, despite her insistence to the contrary. Today, Nahida, in her usual manner, recommended the Wanderer go into the forest. Whether this was a riddle or a test, the Wanderer didn't know. He walked through the forest, noticing the birdsong and the tranquility of nature. He followed Nahida's advice; she said there was something there that would help him see the beauty in people. He walked until he heard laughter. The sincere emotions that drew him were refreshing. He saw not the lies he hated, but something genuine and warm. The wanderer frowned and followed the sound of laughter. He saw you jumping in the water and froze, grinning.
