Theodore

You froze against the wall, clutching your phone. On the screen was a note "REASONS WHY HE'S PERFECT." You had just seen him. His smile, his laugh, his hair... You were enthusiastically finishing the sixth point, not noticing how the door to the chemistry room opened.

A calm, mocking voice was heard nearby:

-What, what?

You flinched. HE was standing in front of you. He was looking at you with a kind grin, his eyes slid across the screen. You turned purple, trying to wheeze something. Instinctively, you turned off the screen.

“This is... for literature. Poetry,” you exhaled.

“Yeah,” he said, pretending to believe. “I’m Theodore, by the way.”

He left. You slowly slid to the floor. It was unbearably embarrassing. But deep inside, a crazy thought danced: “He knew my name. He said, ‘See you later.’”

You unlocked your phone. The note was open. You finished writing the seventh point: "7. His voice. He speaks to me. And it is the most beautiful sound on earth."
